Where are you located?

Our store is at Shop 9, Roeland Square, Roeland Street, Gardens, Cape Town, 8001.

We’re on the corner of Upper Canterbury and Roeland Street, above Digicape and Orms, opposite Fruit & Veg City. Plenty of safe parking right in front of the store.

What are your opening times?

Monday – Friday: 9am – 5pm
Saturday: 9am – 1pm
Sunday & Public Holidays: Closed

Our online store is open 24/7. After-hours enquiries are welcome until 8pm on WhatsApp.

What is Racketlon?

We’re a family-run business that lives and breathes racket and dart sports. Racketlon Sports is South Africa’s largest specialist store for racket sports equipment and darts — and the biggest darts supplier in Africa.

Racketlon is also a sport — the “king of racket sports.” It’s a decathlon-style event where you play table tennis, badminton, squash, and tennis against an opponent. We run the ever-popular Racketlon events every year — a full day of competitive fun.

We’re also the sole distributors for leading brands including Target, Red Dragon, Shot, Mission, Harrows and Salming, Butterfly, Tibhar, Joola, Stiga, Donic, Weiss-Cannon and Tourna.

Do you have a physical store or online only?

Both! We have a showroom store in Cape Town and a full online store. The stock you see on our website is what’s physically in the store — unless marked as pre-order.

How do I join an event or club?

Racketlon is a sport, not a club. To find a local club in your area, check Google or message us and we’ll point you in the right direction.

Delivery

What delivery methods do you use?

We use Xtra Smile Couriers and The Courier Guy — tried, tested, and reliable. Your parcel will get to you safely and on time. Full details are on our Delivery page.

How long does delivery take?

It depends on three things: when you ordered, where you are, and parcel size.

  • Order before 2pm — dispatched same day, delivered next working day to central areas (usually by 10am)
  • Order between 2–3pm — possible same-day dispatch
  • Order after 3pm or Friday — dispatched next working day (no Saturday/Sunday deliveries)
  • Regional areas — add 1–2 extra days
  • Remote/rural areas — courier services may only operate once a week
  • Parcels over 3kg — sent via road freight, add 1–2 days
  • Cape Town — same-day delivery available
Can I send my own courier?

Absolutely. Choose “Collect in Store” at checkout — this removes the delivery fee. In the notes section, let us know which courier you’ll be sending. If you’re not sure yet, no worries — email or WhatsApp us later. We’ll pack your order securely and let you know when it’s ready for collection.

Do you ship internationally?

We do! We hold agency for most brands throughout Africa and can ship 99% of our products to Europe, the Americas, and the rest of the world. Some major brands have territorial restrictions — just check with us first.

How to order internationally:

  1. Register on our website with your full delivery address
  2. Add items to your cart

  4. We’ll get a UPS/DHL/FedEx quote based on your order size
  5. Confirm you’re happy to proceed
  6. We send a secure payment link
  7. Your order ships — approximately 3–5 days delivery
  8. You pay any local import taxes on your side

Returns & Exchanges

How can I return a product?

If you’re not happy with your purchase or the sizing is wrong, you have 14 days to return the item — unused and in its original resellable condition — for a credit, exchange, or refund.

Courier fees are non-refundable, so please make sure of your size before ordering.

To start a return, email [email protected] and we’ll arrange collection and process your exchange or refund via your original payment method. Please note: used items cannot be exchanged or refunded.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes — just email, call, or WhatsApp us as soon as possible. If we haven’t dispatched your order yet, we’ll cancel and refund you in full.

Rewards & Referrals

What are Rack Rewards?

For every purchase you make, you earn 1 reward point for every R100 spent. These points are redeemable on your next purchase. You can view your rewards balance in your account section when logged in.

How can I earn through referrals?

Share your referral links with friends and contacts. When they make a purchase, you earn reward points. Check your rewards balance in your account section when logged in.

How do I use my rewards or vouchers?

At checkout, you’ll have the option to pay for all or part of your order using the reward points in your account . Your current points balance is always visible in your account section when logged in.

Sponsorship & Support

Do you offer sponsorship?

We sponsor players, events, and teams across our sporting codes. To apply, email [email protected] with a full description of your request.

All requests are reviewed. If you don’t receive a response, your request has either been declined or will be reconsidered for the next calendar year. Thank you for your understanding.

Ordering

How do I place an order?
  1. Browse using the search bar or category menu. Filter by price, weight, colour, and more.
  2. Select your product attributes (weight, colour, grip size, etc.). If an option isn’t available, it’s out of stock.
  3. Add to cart.
  4. Click the cart icon (top right) to review your items.
  5. Proceed to checkout — choose your delivery option, payment method, and enter your address.

Once your order is paid, you’ll receive these email updates:

  1. Order Received — payment confirmed
  2. Processing — warehouse is picking and packing
  3. Shipped — collected by courier, tracking details included
  4. Delivered — your order has arrived
  5. Follow-up — we’ll ask for a product review
How can I track my order?

Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking details. You can track your parcel using your waybill number on the courier’s tracking portal — the link will be included in your email.

I placed an order with EFT but haven’t received any emails?

EFT payments can take up to 24–48 hours to reflect. Please send your proof of payment to [email protected] or via WhatsApp to speed up processing. Once payment is confirmed, you’ll receive your order confirmation email.

What if I want to add items to an existing order?

Place a second order and select “Collect in Store” at checkout (this removes the extra delivery fee). In the notes section, write “Add to my previous order” and we’ll combine them for you.

Can I pay when I collect in store?

Yes. Place your order online and select EFT at checkout. Let us know in the notes that you’ll be coming in to pay, and we’ll have your order ready. You can then pay in store by cash, card, or any of our in-store payment methods.

Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

We offer a wide range of payment options:

  • In store: Cash, Geo-Pay, Yoco (card), Snapscan
  • Online: Payfast, Payflex, Payjustnow, HappyPay, Ozow, PayPal, EFT
  • Online & in store: Yoco (via payment link)

Can I buy now and pay later?

Yes! We offer Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) through Payflex and Payfast. Pay 25% upfront and split the remaining balance over 3 further payments — with no added fees. Simply select your preferred BNPL option at checkout.

What is Payflex?

Payflex is a Buy Now Pay Later payment gateway. Split your purchase into 4 equal payments — pay 25% now, and the rest over time. It’s safe, fast, and convenient. Once Payflex confirms payment, we release your order immediately.

What is Payfast?

Payfast is a secure South African payment gateway. It supports card payments, EFT, debit cards, Mobicred, and MoreTyme (BNPL). Once payment is confirmed, your order is released instantly.

What is Stitch?

Stitch is a secure instant EFT payment solution. It allows you to pay directly from your bank account in real time — no card details needed. Fast, safe, and widely supported across South African banks.

What is Yoco?

Yoco is a South African payment platform for card payments. We use it both in store (card machine) and online via a secure payment link. It’s quick, reliable, and supports all major credit and debit cards.

Products

Where do your brands come from?

Our flagship brands are sourced from the UK, Germany, New Zealand, Hong Kong, and Japan. The rest come from local South African agents who import from the same countries. All products are 100% original.

What are grey products — and are yours grey?

Grey products are 100% original items that were sourced directly from the manufacturer or outside of the local South African distributor network. This does not affect the product warranty in any way — if anything, we offer better after-sales support than many local agents.

Any grey products in our store are clearly marked as such.

Is the price I see the final price?

Yes. All prices on our website are VAT-inclusive — what you see is what you pay per product. Shipping is calculated at checkout (usually R160, or free on orders over R4,000). VAT is shown as a line item at checkout and can be claimed back if needed.

Are you VAT registered?

Yes, we are VAT registered. All prices include 15% VAT. Your invoice will reflect the VAT component, which you can claim back if you’re a VAT-registered business.

How do I find out about promotions and sales?

We run regular promotions including Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Christmas, January sales, and birthday specials. Newsletter subscribers get early access — sign up to be first in line. You can also keep an eye on our website’s dedicated sales page and follow us on Facebook.

How do I review a product?

Go to the product page and leave a star rating (1–5) and a comment. Your review helps other customers make informed decisions — we really appreciate it. You’ll also receive a follow-up email after your purchase with direct links to review the products you bought.

Can I purchase a gift voucher?

Yes! Gift vouchers are available for print or email delivery. They can be used both in store and online. Buy a gift voucher here →

Can we become resellers or get a wholesale discount?
